With great difficulty, Partizan achieved a victory against Buducnost 16:14 (4:1, 2:4, 5:4, 5:5).
With this triumph, the black and whites have leapfrogged Red Star in the Regional League table and in the Serbian Super League, as fourth in the table, they will be “exempt” from the first round of the playoffs. Red Star will start the Super League in fifth position.
Partizan led 4:0, 5:1 before the Podgorica team came back into the game. Two equalizers came in the third half. After 7:7 in less than 90 seconds, Božović, Bodiroga and Đokanović restored Partizan’s lead to 10:7. Two goals were left before the final eight 11:9.
Stevović scored twice at the beginning. It was a draw until Kutajar and Bodiroga restored peace to the black and white ranks. It didn’t end there either, the Podgorica team tied the game twice more, the last time 14:14. Then Bodiroga and Božović concluded the exciting match with goals.
