In the fight for third place in the final tournament of the Premier Regional League, the water polo players from Šabac were defeated after five-pointers by Jadran from Herceg Novi with a total score of 16:15.
During the first half, the game was evenly contested, and the score was tied at 5:5 at halftime. After a few minutes of play, it was 6:6, and then Jadran scored five goals in a row and took an 11:6 lead. However, Šabac did not give up, and with patient play and goals from Ognjen Stojanović and Filip Novaković, they equalized 11 seconds before the end.
The five-a-side competition followed, in which the team from Novalja had more luck this time and won bronze.
