In the second round of the European Women’s Water Polo Championship in Funchal, the Serbian women’s national team was defeated by Italy with a score of 17:6. Miloš Bradić’s team defeated Turkey 9:8 in the first round, and in two days, in the decisive match, they will play Croatia.
The Italians took the lead in the second minute, but Serbia quickly equalized with a goal by Ana Milićević, who was also accurate at the end of the first quarter (3:2). However, Italy scored two more goals by the end of that period, and then extended the series to a convincing 10:2, and then the question of the winner was resolved.
