The Serbian U18 water polo team lost to Croatia 15:11 in the final match of the first phase of the World Championship.
Serbia finished last in the group stage, having lost to Hungary and Montenegro before their match against Croatia. Despite this, the Serbian team continues the championship in the round of 16, where they will have the opportunity to improve their performance and stay in the fight for the best possible ranking.
The most efficient players in the Serbian team were Uroš Munćan, Pavle Papić, Luka Drobnjaković and Strahinja Nešković with two goals each, while Milan Zelić and Nikola Pavlović scored one goal each.
Croatia, Montenegro, the United States and Spain have qualified directly for the quarterfinals, while Serbia will seek a path to the continuation of the competition through the next round.
