The Serbian youth water polo team (players under 16) will participate in the 1st Balkan Games in Thessaloniki. The competition will be held as part of the International Alexander the Great Games, from 16 to 19 July, at the Posidonio Swimming Pool, and is organized by the Hellenic Swimming Federation in cooperation with the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
The tournament will feature teams from Greece, Serbia, Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, North Macedonia and Hungary.
The Balkan Games will serve as a test competition for the Serbian youth team before the European Championship. In the first phase of the competition, Serbia will play three matches – on Thursday against Turkey (11:30) and North Macedonia (19:30), and on Friday against Hungary (12:30).
