Federal coach Uroš Stevanović has selected the candidates who will prepare from March 30 to April 5 to participate in the World Cup qualifying tournament in the Greek city of Alexandroupoli (April 6 – 12).

The coaching staff includes: Uroš Stevanović (federal coach), Miloš Ćirić, Stefan Ćirić, Darko Bilić, Nemanja Ličanin, Miloš Ostojić (coaches), Dr. Nikola Repac (doctor) and Vladimir Radović (physiotherapist).
Serbia will spar in Belgrade and Kragujevac with the Netherlands and Russia, which is returning to the international stage after several years.
The Netherlands, along with Greece and Hungary, are Serbia’s opponents in Group A of the qualifiers, while Group B includes Italy, the USA, Spain and Croatia. After three group matches, two new groups of four teams will be formed, each playing against the other.
The top five teams from this tournament will qualify for the final tournament in Sydney (22-26 July). Two teams will arrive from the Division 2 tournament (32 participants) which will be held in Malta, while the eighth participant is Australia.
