One of the two derbies of the 11th round of the Premier Regional League was played in Šabac, and Radnički won big, winning 13:12. The game was played in front of full stands, Šabac was looking for revenge for the defeat against Partizan, and Radnički wanted to continue their successful series after the points against Novi Beograd.
The Kragujevac team started better, taking a 3:1 lead, but the home team didn’t even think about giving up. The equalizer arrived and in the second quarter Šabac took the lead for the first time 6:5 through Stanojević. Vlahopulos equalized from the penalty spot and then Nikola Jakšić performed a real masterpiece for a minimal advantage.
With a quick action by Prlainović and Vlahopulos, Radnički gained 8:6. It was a sign that the leader was increasing the pace and the result of a better game was an advantage of 11:7 which was reduced through Stanojević. With a beautiful goal, Mačić brought Šabac closer to only two goals. However, the trio of Nikola Jakšić, Prlainović, and Vlahopulos held everything in their hands. The Greek international interrupted the mini-series of their rivals for 12:9. This did not demoralize Šabac, Barać and Mačić returned the drama to the match with a 12:12 tie. Vlahopulos was relentless from the penalty spot.
Šabac was chasing, Radnički was defending. Prlainović was imprecise with a player more than Radnički, with a 13:12 lead, so Šabac got a chance to equalize 27 seconds before the end. Ličanin called for a timeout. Ognjen Stojanović had the opportunity, but his bad shot meant Radnički won.
