In the last round of the Novi Sad group of the second round of the Conference Cup qualification, Vojvodina lost its second match. The Spanish team Tenerife was better 15:10 (4:2, 4:2, 3:4, 4:2). The rival showed quality, recording a third victory. Vojvodina did not manage to find a rhythm at any moment. It came close to a two-goal deficit twice, but it could not go any further.
As Hanja defeated Bochum 17:11, the goal difference in the round of three determined which team, besides the representatives from Spain, would continue the competition. Unfortunately for Vojvodina, Hanja was second (plus four), Novi Sad third (plus one) and Bochum last (minus five). Vojvodina – Bochum 15:16, Vojvodina – Hanja 14:12, Bochum – Hanja 11:17.
