The captain of the Serbian national team, he won Olympic gold at the Paris Olympic Games, having previously won Olympic gold in Rio.

At the Serbian Olympic Committee ceremony, he was named the Best Young Athlete of Serbia in 2016.

2019. with Ferencváros, he won the LEN Champions League in Hanover and the LEN Super Cup in a match against Olympiacos.

In the 2019–20 season, he once again won the LEN Super Cup with Ferencváros, defeating Marseille.

In the summer of 2021, he returned to Serbia and first played for Novi Beograd, before joining Radnički Kragujevac in 2024.
