With the Serbian national team, he has won everything there is to win: five European Championship gold medals, one World Championship gold medal, and two Olympic gold medals. In addition, he has won seven World League gold medals and one Mediterranean Games gold medal.
He began his career at Vojvodina in Novi Sad and has also played for Partizan, Eger, Szolnok, Mladost, Novi Beograd, and Radnički.
