He started his career at Partizan Belgrade, with whom he won the Serbian Cup, the Euro Interleague, and the Champions League in 2011. He moved to the Kragujevac-based club Radnički in the summer of 2014, returning there eleven years later. He has also played for Primorje, Sliema, the German club Spandau 04, and Vasas.
He is a member of the Serbian national water polo team, with whom he has won two Olympic golds, in 2021 and 2024, as well as the European Championship gold in Belgrade in 2026.
