Novi Sad hosts the second round of the Conference Cup qualifiers for women’s water polo. In the first round, Vojvodina was defeated by the German Bochum 16:15 (2:3, 4:6, 6:3, 3:4).
It was a completely even match. The Novi Sad team cancelled out the Germans’ three-goal lead in the third period. The home team had a 14:13 lead. After two goals from their rivals, Da Silva equalized 47 seconds before the end. In the last attack, Bochum gained a player and 11 seconds before the end, they achieved victory through Johnson. On Saturday at 6 p.m., Vojvodina plays with Hanja, and the next day their opponent will be Tenerife.
