The water polo players from Radnički have advanced to the semifinals of the Euro Cup, after defeating Primorac from Kotor in the second quarterfinal match with a score of 17:15. In Kotor, the Kragujevac team won 14:10, and in the battle for the finals they will play against the French Marseille, which was better than the Spanish Sabadell.

The Kragujevac team started relaxed. It was as if they thought that everything was resolved in Kotor. However, Primorac proved to be far more engaged in the first quarter. The Kotor team easily survived three minimal leads by the home team and then, with a series of beautiful goals, 3:0, they reached 5:3.

Radnički needed Inaba to score at the beginning of the second half for 6:3 to start playing. Nikola Jakšić brought the team back in two consecutive attacks. Strahinja Rašović equalized from a counterattack. The guests were falling. Vic’s goal briefly interrupted the home team’s run. By halftime, Dadvani and Vapenski from the penalty spot completely turned the game around in a carefree 8:7. Radnički’s defense played very well in this part.

That comfort did not last long. Kotorani exploded, in four minutes they turned the score around to 11:9. Balša Vučković shone, followed by Inaba. Stevanović changed the goalkeeper. The home team’s awakening was crowned with a player more than Strahinja Rašović and Sava Randđelović. In the last attack of the quarter, Viktor Rašović literally pushed the ball into the net. Radnički had a phenomenal realization of the player more than 8-8 in the first three quarters, and at the end 9-10.

In the final eight minutes, the game was about prestige. The home team had a 15:13 lead, and the visitors equalized when goalkeeper Todorovski was sent off. In the last 50 seconds, Prlainović and Duško Pijetlović brought the victory to the Kragujevac team at the sound of the siren.

In the semifinals on April 25 and May 9, Radnicki will play against Marseille. In the other semifinal, BVSC and Jadran will play.
