The Serbian women’s water polo team (under-16 players) was defeated by Spain with a score of 13:2 (3:1, 2:1, 5:0, 3:0) in the first round match of the World Championship.
Our water polo players successfully matched the reigning world champions in the first two quarters, and then the quality of their rivals came to the fore.
Jana Pejić and Maša Ćuk each scored one goal for Serbia.
Our national team will play against the Romanian national team in the second round, on Sunday at 8:35 PM.
