Radnicki out of the European Cup final

The water polo players of Radnički from Kragujevac were defeated by Marseille in the second leg of the European Cup semi-final with a score of 16:11.

In the first match, Radnički’s water polo players defeated Marseille in Kragujevac with a score of 17:14, but in the second leg they suffered a convincing defeat with a score of 16:11 and thus were left without a chance to win the trophy.

Marseille finished the first quarter with a score of 3:2, in the second it was a complete tie (4:4), and in the third quarter the French dealt the Kragujevac team a decisive blow, winning 6:4. In the last quarter, Radnički scored only one goal, at the end of the quarter. On the other hand, Marseille scored three goals and thus ultimately won a very convincing victory.

The most efficient player for Radnički was Andrija Prlainović with four goals, while the Marseille team was led by Adam Nađi, Alexandre Bue and Efstatios Kalogeropulos with three goals each.
