Patriarch Porfirije celebrated the liturgy today, on the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the second day of Christmas, in the Temple of Saint Sava, after which he welcomed and hosted the Serbian water polo team.
After the liturgy, the Patriarch hosted Serbian water polo players, members of the coaching staff and representatives of the Water Polo Federation of Serbia in the Parish Hall of the Church of Saint Sava and wished them success in the upcoming European Championship, which is being held in the Belgrade Arena from January 10 to 25.
