Radnicki took a huge step towards reaching the semifinals of the Euro Cup in Kotor. They were defeated for the third time this season by Primorac, this time with a score of 14:10 (3:2, 3:2, 5:4, 3:2). The second leg is on March 28 in Kragujevac.
Kotor had a minimal lead twice in the first quarter. After Mršić’s goal that gave Primorac a 2:1 lead, Kragujevac made a 4:0 run. Filipović defended excellently, Dedović was in the mood to make a difference. In the second quarter, the home team tried to get back into the game with results. They had as many as four five-pointers, but Filipović reacted brilliantly twice. Perhaps the decision was definitely made at the end of the third period. Radović reduced it to 9:8, but in 40 seconds Vlahopulos and Pijetlović brought a stable lead of three goals.
In the final part, Savo Ćetković was the first to score. Primorac could have added drama but missed the opportunity with two players more. The penalty came from the efficient Dedović. Primorac surrendered there and the Kragujevac team recorded a convincing triumph. Filipović defended excellently, Dedović, Pijetlović and Vlahopulos were the most likely to score goals for the winners, and Ćetković for the hosts.
