Serbian top scorer Dušan Mandić was named the best player of the final match, in which he scored four goals. He thus became the fifth top scorer of the European Championship with a total of 20 goals in six matches played, after missing two matches due to a red card in the duel with Spain.
Mandić was also included in the ideal team of the 37th European Championship, and besides him, the ideal lineup also includes: Milan Glušac, Strahinja Rašović, Stylianos Argyropoulos (Greece), Kristian Manherc (Hungary), Konstantinos Kakaris (Greece) and Akoš Nagy (Hungary).
On behalf of UNIQA Insurance, Mandić was presented with the award by Ljiljana Nikolić, member of the Regional Executive Board of UNIQA Insurance, together with Norbert Madaraš, representative of the European Water Sports Federation.
The awards for the seven most valuable players of the championship were presented by UNIQA Insurance. The awards were presented by Nikola Đukić, President of the Executive Board of UNIQA Insurance, and Ljiljana Nikolić, Member of the Regional Executive Board of UNIQA Insurance, together with Fernando Karpen and Miloš Mračević, representatives of the European Aquatics Federation.
